Well this is a picture for factoid obviously and it pretty much explains itself. A factoid is a small "fact" that probably isn't true.

VOCABULARY WORD: ADVERSE
I chose this picture for adverse because adverse means that bad things are happening to you and a rain cloud symbolizes a bad day

VOCABULARY WORD: FORTE
I chose this word for forte because forte means your strength ( not necessarily muscles ) and this is a picture of a guy with muscles.

VOCABULARY WORD: AGGRAVATE
I chose this picture because it shows someone with a really mad look on their face and aggravate is basically egging someone on when they are already mad and provoking them to get more angry

CAMELDOGS
Hi my name is John. I live alone in a desert that is 5000 miles away from the nearest city and the only transportation I have is a Cameldog named Jim. He is basically a mix between a Camal and a dog. He can run as fast as a dog and he looks just like a dog but he can travel really far like camel. He is a close relative to ManBearPig which is half man and half bearpig or was it half bear half manpig? Anyways back to my story I live here with Jim and my tv.
One day i turned on my tv and noticed that the news was saying that there would be a new ice age coming very soon and you would have to get to the closest city if you wanted to live. I thought they were lying and so I just switched the channel to spongebob's new episode and laid back to rest. Apparently the news was right because i woke up trapped behind 150ft of snow.
I decided now was the best time to pull out my only spoon and start digging. Eventually i made my way through the snow and was able to get Jim outside. I ran inside and got my orange turban to keep my head warm and i was off. Jim ran the fastest he had ever run and the falling snowflakes froze behind us. We arrived in town and I ended up living happily ever after

300 WORDS
Well i have a lot of thoughts about the article that we read in Mr. Ross' class. It basically was about a mom who found her son after he had commited suicide by hanging himself. She had looked through the books that he used to stand on and found a couple Dungeons & Dragons books which even thought they were not at the thop of the stack she felt they were the main part in her sons suicide. Now I do feel bad but I can already tell she is going to blame her sons suicide on a video game.
I feel that all the people who blame suicides on games are just people looking for a quick excuse that they can use to make them feel like it wasn't their fault in any way. I think she was in so much shock on what had happened that she used the first thing she found as an answer to why he did what he did. I really think that all the people who are taking their lives to get certain games band based off these internet rants of a parent in denial are wasting time and effort on something so stupid when they could help out with something that will actually change the world for the better.
I also think that the kids who do commit suicide are under different influences than just a game. I think that they probably had problems with other people and within their own family and that would be the main reason why they would kill themselves. I actually kind of think that the games help out many kids if they would be in the situation of not having friends or having a feeling of belonging. Games like D&D help bring people together that share the same interests and hobby's. People need to start realizing that games are not any reason to blame for suicides and maybe start believing that they didn't do all they could to help their kids. Ya i know that sounds harsh but its the truth.

E:PROMPT #1
I would personally not disconnect from the man no matter who it was for a couple reasons.
If it was me I don't think i could really live if I knew that I had killed a man whether or not it was considered murder. I'm not sure how anyone else would feel but the guilt would definitely be with me for the rest of my life.
I also think that even tho you were taking there without knowing it wouldn't be too hard to just sit in a bed for nine months if you have books/video games and have your schoolwork coming to the hospital. I think this might be a little harder decision for me if it actually hurt me because its hard to put someone else so far in front of yourself that you'd be willing to get physically hurt for them but you would most likely be able to recover and they would not be able to recover from death so to me the answer would be obvious.
Now I don't think that it would necessarily be unethical to disconnect because you were taking there out of your will but when you can save someones life with very little effort i don't see why you wouldn't. Even if it wasn't someone famous or someone you liked when its a life and death situation i don't think any of that should matter.

BOOK REVIEW
by Nolan Lalor
4/5
I was not really interested in dinosaurs when i picked this book up but it is filled with so much suspense and excitement that I didn't want to stop reading it. The one thing that some readers might need to get used to is that the action and suspense parts don't start happening until the end of the book. Some people might look at that as a bad thing but when your actually reading it and you can see the change in pace it makes you want to keep reading even more because you know that on the next page something bigger and better will happen.
Another thing that makes this book worth reading for anyone that likes a suspenseful book is the authors writing style. He has many characters in his book and they are all usually in different places doing completely different things throughout the story but he writes in a way thats easy to follow. I think this really makes the book even more amazing because all these things are happening at the same times in different places yet you can follow it an understand it very easily. If you are debating whether or not to read this book because you arent intrested in dinosaurs I strongly think you should read it anyways because it has an amazing story line and it will keep excited especially in the end when it leaves you with a big question.
